Trip Overview

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of Nepal's most iconic and diverse trekking adventures. The journey takes you from the lower valleys of the Annapurna region into the high Himalayas, crossing the challenging Thorong La Pass at 5,416 meters before descending towards the sacred pilgrimage town of Muktinath and the beautiful Kali Gandaki Valley.

The trek begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar and continues by local / private jeep towards Dharapani. From Dharapani, the trail gradually climbs through forests, traditional villages and spectacularr mountain landscapes.

One of the highlights of the trek is the scenic route from Manang to Upper via Gyaru, Ngawal and Braga, offering extraordinary views of the Annapurna range. A carefully planned acclimatization day in Manang helps trekkers prepare for the higher elevations.

From Manang, the trail continues towards Yak Kharka and Throng Phedi or Throng High Camp. The most challenging and rewarding day follows crossing Throng La Pass ( 5,416 m ) and descending to Muktinath.

The journey then continues through the unique landscapes of Musang, including Lupra village, before reaching Jomsom. A scenic flight from Jomsom brings you to Pokhara, where you can relax and explore the beautiful lakeside city before returning to Kathmandu.

This itinerary is designed to provide a balanced combination of adventure, acclimatization, culture, mountain, scenery and relaxation.
