Lobuche Peak Trek Description
Lobuche Peak (6,119m) is a popular trekking peak in the Everest region, known for its technical climbing route. The peak has two summits-East and West, with East being more frequently climbed. The ascent includes rock, ice, and snow, requiring skills like using crampons and ice axes. From the summit, climbers enjoy stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and other peaks in the Khumbu region.
The trek begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and continues through Namche, Tengboche, and Dingboche. After acclimatization, the trek reaches Lobuche and then continues to Lobuche Base Camp and High Camp. The final climb to the summit involves a steep ridge, followed by a descent to Pangboche and returning to Lukla.
