This itinerary begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Barpak, a beautiful Gurung village renowed as the birthplace of Captain Gaje Ghale VC. From rhododendrron and pine forests, cascading waterfalls, and dramatic river gorges before entering the high Himalayan valleys surrounding Mt. Manaslu.
As the trek gradually gains altitude, trekkers acclimatize while exploring the picturesque villages offer magnificent mountain panoramas and opportunities to experience the unique culture of the Nubri people, whose traditions closely resemble those of neighboring Tibet.
One of the highlights of the trek is an acclimatization day in Samagaun, where trekkers may hike to the breathtaking Manaslu Base Camp ( 4,800 m ) or visit the crystal-clear waters of Birendra Lake, situated beneath the towering Manaslu Glacier.
The ultimate challenge and reward of the journey is crossing Larke La Pass ( 5,106 m ). Reaching the summit at sunrise reveals unforgettable panoramic views of Manaslu, Himlung, Cheo Himal, Kangaru, Annapurna II, and numerous surrounding peaks. The descent then leads into the beautiful alpine valley fo Bhimthang before continuing through rhododendron forests to Dharapani, where the trek concludes.

Climbers must bring full high-altitude gear including down suit ( -40•C ), mountaineering boots, crampons, harness, helmet, gloves, sleeping bag ( -40•C ), headlamp, sunglasses, and personal medical kit.
Permits, logistics, accommodation, meals, Sherpa Support, ropes, oxygen, and medical assistant are included.
Previous experience above 6,500m, strong physical condition, and technical climbing skill are required.

We are a group of friends from ireland and did the annapourna base camp trek . The company were brilliant from start to finish we were met at airport by lakpa our guide and taken to our hotel which was right in thamel a bustling and exciting place ,our flights to pokhara were good and we tracked on the same day our accomodations on the trek was in tea houses along the trail the food breakfast lunch and dinner were organized by lakpa and were very good.We reached annapourna base camp after a beautiful trek and it was amazing what a view. In the morning we returned to pokhara where we relaxed for a day and some did a tandem paraglide ,then on to chitwan park to see the rhinos and elephants all in all a great well organized trip I would highly recommend this company michael
