Detailed Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary 

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Welcome to Nepal !

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative from Nepal Destination Treks and Tours Pvt.Ltd. will welcome you with a traditional Khada ( Buddhist Scarf ) or flower garland while holding our company banner.

You will transferred by private vehicle to your hotel in Thamel, the tourist centre of Kathmandu. After check- in, you will meet your trekking guide and receive a detailed briefing about your Everest Base camp Trek. In the Evening we organize a welcome dinner with our team.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla Flight (2,840m) – Trek to Phakding (2,610m)

Early morning, we drive to Kathmandu domestic airport for a scenic flight to Lukla.

The 35-45 minutes mountaiin flight offers amazing views of the Himalayan range. 

After breakfast in Lukla, we begin our treks towards Phakding through beautiful Sherpa villages and green landscapes.

Walking Duration : 3-4 hours.

Day 03: Phakding – Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

After breakfast, we continue our trek following the Dudh Koshi River. The trail passes through charming Sherpa villages including Toktok, Benkar, Manjo, and Jorsale.

At Monjo, we enter the Sagaramatha National Parka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After crossing several suspension bridge, we make a steep climb towards Nmache Bazaar, the largest Sherpa town in the Everest region.

Day 04 Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar (3440m )

Today is an important acclimatization day to help our body adapt to the increasing altitude.

After breakfast , we hike to the Everest View Hotel, one of the best viewpoints in the Everest region. From here, we enjoy breathtaking views of :

> Mount Everest (8,848.86m)

> Lhotse (8,516m)

> Nuptse (7,816m)

> Ama Dablam (6,812m)

> Thamserku and other Himalayan Peaks

After enjoying the mountain scenery, we return to Namche and explore the 

Sherpa Cultural Meuseum and local market.

Walking : 3-4 hours

Day 5: Namche Bazaar – Phortse (3,880m)

Today we leave a Namche and follow a beautiful mountain trail towards Phortse. The route passes through the peaceful village of 

Kyanjuma with incredible views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Everest. Phortse is a traditional Sherpa village known for its mountaineers and beautiful terraced landscapes.

Walking : 5-6 hours.

Day 06: phortse – Dingboche (4,410m)

Today we trek towaeds higher Himalayan valley. The trail passes through Pangboche village, one of the oldest Sherpa settlements in the Everest Region.

We enjooyed magnificient views of Ama Dablam, cross the Imja Khola River and visit the famous Pangboche Monastery. Continuing through Somare vAalley of the Khumbu region.

Day 07: Acclimatization in Dingboche (4,410m)

Another important acclimatization day before moving higher.

After breakfast we hike around 300-400 meters above Dingboche for better altitude adaptation. From  the viewpoint, we enjoy spetacular mountain scenery.

afeter returning to the lodge for lunch, we explore Dingboche village and experience the lifestyle of local Sherpa people.

Walking : 3-4 hours.

Day 8: Dingboche – Lobuche (4,910m)

Today we continue our journey towards Lobuche. The trail gradually clmbs through the alpine landscape.

We pass through Thukla, where we take lunch and continue towards Lobuche. The area offers impressive views of surrounding Himalayan peaks.

Walking Duration : 4-5 hours

included : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and acccommodation.

Day  09: Lobuche – Everest Base Camp (5,364m) – Gorakshep (5,180m)

Today is one of the most exciting days of the trek.

After breakfast, we  walk towards Gorskshep through the rocky Himalayan landscape. After lunch at Gorakshep, we continue our hike to the legendary Everest Base Camp (5,364m).

At Everest Base Camp, you can experience the historic climbing area and enjoying magnificient views of Khumbu Glacier and surrounding peaks.

After spending time at Base Camp, we return to Gorakshep for overnight stay.

Day 10: Gorakshep – Kala Patthar (5,555m) Lobuche (4,910m)

Early morning around 4/5 AM, we start climbing Kala Patthar, the most famous viewpoint of the Everest region.

After approximately 1.5-2 hours of climbing sunrisel view over Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse ane many other Himalayan peaks.

After lunch in Gorakshep, we descend back to Lobuche.

Walking duration : 6-7 hours

Included : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and accommodation.

Day 11: Lobuche – debouche (3,820m)

We desccend through the beautiful Himalayan valley passing Pheriche, Sommare and Pangboche villages.

The landscape becomes greener as we lose altitude and return towards the lower Khumbu region.

Walking duration :6-7 hours

Included : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and accommodation.

Day 12:  Debouche – Namche (3,440m)

After breakfast, we visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest Buddhist monastery in the Everest region.

From here, we enjoy incredible views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and other peaks.

We continue descending to Phunki Tenga, cross the suspension bridge, climb up Kyangjuma and finally arrive at Namche Bazaar.

Walking duration : 5-6 hours

Included : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and accommodation.

Day 13: Namche - Lukla (2,8,40m)

Our final trekking day begins with a descent through the Dudh Koshi valley.

We cross the Hillary Suspension Bridge, pass through Jorsaley, Manjo, Phakding, Cheplung villages before reaching Lukla.

In the evening, we celebrate the successful completion of our Everest Base Camp Trek with our trekking team.

Walking duration : 7-8 hours

Day 14: Lukla - Kathmandu ( 1,400 m ) flight.

Early morning after beakfast, we approximately 5 minutes to Lukla airport.

We take a scenic mountain flight back to Kathmandu ( around 35-45 minutes ).

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel.

Included : Breakfast and private transportation.

Day 15 : Kathmandu Sightseeing ( Optional ).

Today you can explore the cultural heritage sites of kathmandu Valley.

Day 16 : Final Departure 

Our team will trasnfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport approximately 3 hours before your international flight departure.

Essential Information

1. Best Seasons Spring ( March-May ) and Autumn ( September-November ) are the best seaspms for trekking.

2. Trek Difficulty Moderate to challenging. Good physical fitness is recommended.

3. Maximum Altitude  (5,555m ) Kala Patthar and ( 5,364m ) Everest Base Camp.

4. Accommodation Tea houses/lodges on twin-sharing basis during trek.

5. Meals Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available during trek.

6. Permit All necessary trekking permiits are required and can be arranged by our company.

7. Travel Insurance Comprehensive travel insurance covering high-altitude trekking and emergency helicopter evacuation is mandatory.

8. Guide and Porter Experienced licensed guide is recommenden. Porter service is available.

9. Altitude Sickness Proper acclimatization is essential. Our guides are trained to recognize and manage altitude sickness.

10. Equipment Warm clothing and proper trekking gerar are essential.

11.Electricity and Internet Charging facilties and Wi-Fi are available in most villages for an additional charge.

12.Drinking Water Safe drinking water is available. We recommend using water purification tablets or a reusable bottle.
