A highlight of the trek is the visit to Khopra Ridge (3,660m) and the serene Khayar Lake (4,500m), considered sacred by Hindus.

Itinerary

•Day 1: Drive to Nayapul, trek to Ghandruk (1,940m).

• Day 2: Trek to Tadapani (2,610m).

•Day 3: Trek to Bayeli Kharka (3,420m).

•Day 4: Trek to Khopra Danda (3,660m).

• Day 5: Optional hike to Khayar Lake (4,500m), return to Khopra Danda.

• Day 6: Descend to Swanta Village (2,200m).

• Day 7: Trek to Ghorepani (2,850m).

• Day 8: Hike to Poon Hill (3,210m) for sunrise, trek to Nayapul, and drive to Pokhara.
